AI ARCHITECT – DECISION SYSTEMS & AUTONOMY (FULL STACK)

About the Opportunity

We are hiring an AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of decision intelligence capabilities for an AI-native cloud automation and FinOps platform. This is a client project under NDA, the client is a technology company building a portfolio of intelligent cloud operations and autonomy governance products.

This role sits at the intersection of software architecture, applied AI, and data engineering. You'll translate autonomy concepts, trust scoring models, and telemetry-driven decision logic into production-grade services that operate continuously across distributed cloud environments.

This is a hands-on role. The ideal candidate combines strong system thinking with practical experience building data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and AI-enabled backend services.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing trust scoring pipelines and evaluation logic for an autonomy governance framework
• Defining telemetry → feature → decision workflows across the platform
• Implementing experimentation frameworks for heuristic and AI-driven actions
• Developing model orchestration and inference services
• Creating explainability and observability for automated decisions
• Collaborating with platform teams on data contracts and event streams
• Productionising research prototypes into reliable backend services
• Supporting patent development and technical differentiation
• Guiding engineering teams on applied AI best practices

What We're Looking For

You are a creative technologist comfortable operating between research and production.

• 8+ years in software engineering, data science, or applied AI roles
• Experience building production data pipelines and AI-enabled services
• Strong system thinking and comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to move from concept to implementation rapidly
• Comfort working in early-stage environments

Technical Requirements

• Experience with distributed data processing and event-driven systems
• Strong Python and/or .NET backend experience
• Familiarity with feature engineering and model evaluation pipelines
• Experience integrating LLM/SLM inference into applications
• Understanding of observability, experimentation, and A/B frameworks
• Exposure to Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and telemetry pipelines
• Knowledge of FinOps or operational analytics is a plus

• Excellent spoken and written business English
• Ability to collaborate closely with founding leadership and architecture teams during early platform formation
• Flexibility during collaboration phases and comfort working in an evolving, early-stage environment
• Infrequent travel within Europe may be required for team meetings or partner engagements
• Knowledge of additional languages is an asset
